Thom Yorke never learned how to make bad music..

Thom Yorke is the frontman for Radiohead, has also released 1 solo album and is the epitome of a music genius. Thom is currently working on another solo album, but in the meantime he teamed up with his brother(who fronts Unbelievable Truth) for a track titled All For The Best which is part of a tribute/benefit album for the former Miracle Legion frontman whose wife died suddenly last year.

The track is pretty fantastic especially if you need some new Thom Yorke stuff in your life. You can check it out on antiquiet.com and I highly suggest you do.

LCD Soundsystem still rocks my face off..

I have been rocking ‘The Sound of Silver’ since it first came out way back 2 years ago and it still rocks and plays the same as it did 2 years ago. If you dont have this album yet, then I feel sorry for you and I am not your friend.

Jimmy Fallon taking over for Conan, but he has ‘The Roots’

We all know that Jimmy Fallon may not be a great fit to take over for the amazing Conan O’Brien however they have recently announced that his house band is none other than ‘The Roots’! That is freaking HUGE.

I love ‘The Roots’ so to be able to tune in and see them rocking the house Monday-Friday on Late Night with Jimmy Fallon is pretty exciting.

Jay-Z confirmed ‘The Blueprint 3′

Mr H to the Izzo himself has confirmed ‘The Blueprint 3′ which will be his final album for Def Jam before jumping over to Live Nation. The album is supposed to be produced 90% my Kanye West, which in of itself should make the album worth buying. I just hope its more like the first Blueprint, and not Blueprint 2.

Kings of Leon..still great.

So I got the new Kings of Leon disk and I must say that i am pretty impressed. They have opted for a more simple, southern sound..but not southern like Lynard Skynard. I really dig it.

The Black Kids..YES!

If you haven’t listened to The Black Kids, let me tell you that you sir/mam are missing out on one of my favorite bands right now. These guys rock harder to your mom, and thats not a lie.

Think of the most infectious sounds that could possibly be made, and then you might understand what you will get on Partie Traumatic. These guys/gals combine pop music with the sexiest electro 80’s beats to drive you insane, and keep you coming back for more. Go out and BUY, not download this album, it doesn’t disappoint.

New Metallica album..

Let me first say that I really loved ‘St. Anger’ even though most people threw a fit over it. I also absolutely loved the documentary they shot for it ‘Some Kind of Monster’. It really went far beyond making the album, it was very personal and changed the way I saw these guys.

‘Death Magnetic’ comes out officially tomorrow and let me tell you boys and girls, it is a really intense album that that is a throwback tribute to the “older style” Metallica, while still staying true to what they have done recently. I love love love this new shit man. They brought back guitar solo’s, thrashing guitars and brutal drums. Definitely go out tomorrow and pick it up, even if you illegally downloaded it. They made a regular version, and a version with a DVD.

Trent Reznor has been sticking in to windows during the current tour that Nine Inch Nails is on. The above screen pops up a couple of times at different shows during ‘The Great Destroyer’. Trent is a big mac guy, so this is all assumptions..but come on who really LOVES windows?
