Yes its sexy, but when will these companies realize that what people really want/need is large amounts of built in memory, like the iPhone touts. Plus Treo switched over to Windows Mobile which is a horrible excuse for smart phone OS. I rocked the hell out of the Treo 650, then they jumped over the WM and I dropped them faster than Microsoft dropped Jerry Sienfeld. Engadget got some info about it shipping to customers right now for the kick in the face price of $549!
Here are the specs for the Palm Treo Pro..
- Touchscreen and full keyboard
- Microsoft® Windows Mobile® 6.1 Professional Edition
- Outlook® email with Microsoft® Direct Push Technology and HTML support1,2
- High-speed data with UMTS/HSDPA3
- High-capacity, removable battery
- Instant-on Wi-Fi button1
- GPS for navigation, turn-by-turn directions, and local search1
- Microsoft® Office Outlook® Mobile for Contacts, Calendar, and Tasks
- Edit native Microsoft® Word and Excel® documents4
- Open and view PowerPoint,® PDF, and ZIP files
- Use Internet Explorer® Mobile to search the web fast1
- Functions as a high-speed modem for your laptop5
- Personal email including Hotmail, Yahoo!, and Gmail1
- Chat-style view for SMS and MMS6
- Windows Media® Player Mobile for audio and video
- 2.0 megapixel camera with video capture

The TMobile G1 is the first phone to have google’s OS Android on it, and damn does it pack a punch. Not only does it have a full keyboard, its also open source and has google push mail. That makes my heart sputter. Here are some of the specs:
- HSDPA 1700 / 2100 plus quadband EDGE
- WiFi
- 3D graphics acceleration
- 1GB integrated storage plus microSD expansion
- 3-megapixel camera
- Android Market for on-device app purchases
- Amazon MP3 app for on-device music purchases
- Push Gmail support with full HTML client
- Bluetooth (but no A2DP)
- Google Maps with Street View
- No Microsoft Exchange support
- No desktop synchronization — it all happens over the air
Makes me kind of wish I had T Mobile, and not the iPhone!
